Armed with a brand new treasure trove of peculiar pop and world-inspired trinkets, Seth Kauffman returns this April 21st with his second release for Park The Van Records. Following in the footsteps of 07’s Research – which coaxed critical comparisons to Motown, Caribbean music, and everything in between– Kauffman’s first bow under his new Floating Action moniker is an equally worldly affair, and easily the North Carolina exoticist’s most accomplished work to date. Once again Kauffman has performed and recorded virtually every note himself at his home studio, and – in an age when obsessive computer editing and the omnipresent autotune are sapping the humanity from even home recordings – once again his refreshingly organic approach to making music is receiving rave reviews. Skyline Music welcomes to our exclusive roster:

Chris Knight - Ten years and five acclaimed albums into one of the most uncompromising careers in American music, the singer/songwriter whose work has been compared to Prine, Cash and Nebraska-era Springsteen by some the toughest music writers in America may have finally conquered his most demanding critic of all: himself. Chris Knight has always been an artist of fierce instinct and uncommon paradox. A former strip-mine reclamation inspector, Knight still lives in the rural coal town of Slaughters, Kentucky (population 200) where he was born and raised. But it’s been on record– as well as everywhere from rowdy Texas roadhouses to hushed New York City theaters– where Chris has forged the reputation for a stark and often-ferocious honesty that led one writer to call his music "....where Cormac McCarthy meets Copperhead Road."

ZoSo - Deemed the best tribute act in the state of California by L.A.'s Rock City News, Zoso has proven to be a well-known favorite by Led Zeppelin fans nationwide. The act has performed more than 1,400 shows in the last nine years, touring nationwide. The band now plays around 180 shows per year at marquee venues and avariety of festivals and events across the nation.

Scythian - Dubbed by The Washington Post as "one of DC's most energetic and eclectic bands" Scythian 's (sith-ee-yin) high-energy, adrenaline-peddling, interactive brand of music has one goal in mind - to get people on their feet and dancing!
