Solomon
Burke
Solomon Burke burst onto the scene, shattered the cultural barriers
of the time, scored a massive hit with “Just Out Of
Reach (Of My Two Empty Arms)" and quickly redefined
the way the world would think about music. Conquering hearts, moving
hips and electrifying fans in ways no one thought possible, the
Philadelphia born legend’s soul-stirring smashes and charismatic
presence captured the imagination of young people like no one else
of his era. Dubbed by legendary Atlantic Records producer Jerry
Wexler as “the best soul singer of all time, ”Burke,
a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer since 2001, is more
than simply a pioneering American legend from another time and place--he
is an innovator whose timeless music spans generations and has inspired
millions of fans and hundreds of recording artists across the decades.

The
Emmit Nershi Band
With years of collective experience under their belts, Drew
Emmitt and Bill Nershi exemplify the forward-thinking
modern bluegrass musician. As linchpins of two legendary jam-bands
--Drew with Leftover Salmon, Bill with the String
Cheese Incident--both men have done the stadium-filling,
high-profile rock 'n' roll thing to perfection. Along the way, however,
they've honed their songwriting and playing chops and studied the
bluegrass, rock and jazz masters they admire. Above all, Drew and
Bill have shared a commitment to keeping music human-scaled and
honest. Those qualities are found in abundance on their latest and
greatest collaboration, New Country Blues--11 tunes made in Newgrass
heaven.

The
Dynamites featuring Charles Walker
- Charles Walker doesn’t
imitate, emulate or try to resuscitate a bygone nostalgic era.He
is soul, the real deal, still carrying the flaming torch of
funk and soul lit back in the late 60’s at the Apollo
Theater where he performed with icons like James Brown and
Wilson Pickett. As distinguished as their recordings may be,
however, The Dynamites have truly become known for their incredible
live show, not to mention their relentless touring.the band
continues to pack clubs across the country, open for mega-stars
like Dave Matthews and Widespread Panic and deliver show-stopping
sets at key festivals like Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Outside
Lands, Rothbury, Wakarusa, Langerado, Montreal Jazz Festival,
JamCruise, FloydFest and more.
